according to a friend in the know, no they are not.

a) they have been losing money so have pulled out of wrc
b) yes they will build fezzy rs
c') still thinkin about building focus cossy
d) selling jag cos it dont do Ford name any good

Cosworth was split up about 6 years ago, cosworth engineering was sold to audi and ford kept cosworth racing.

Also i work for ford and cosworth racing WILL be sold, Jaguar F1 will be sold, dont know about WRC. And the RS fiesta will NOT be made, dont know about focus cosworth.

 

Ford aint decided on WRC yet, looking at the world touring car championship. M-Sport have put together the additional funding needed to run in the WRC next season but do not have the funds to develop the new focus as well as running the old one. Rick

 

at the end of the day if they make more money selling family and semi sporty cars then why would they bother with cosworth
