Default Traders insurance?

Hi,

Looking into traders insurance,

Anyone got it, where's best?

My back ground.

i'm 25,
Had full license for 8 years,
a 50/50 blame accident in last 8 years,
nearly 4 years NCB.
No convictions, points in last 5 years,
and clean license.

Will need to be covered on performance cars, due to the sort of cars i work on.

Bare in mind that for modified cars the value you get on a payout if you are fully comp is unlikely to be anything liek the market value, as the trade price of an old fiesta is pennies and doesnt take into account anything you have done to it.

Tradex have just changed the way their policys work, you now have to be 26 and over to be covered on cars over 1800cc.

Cheers.

Tradex wouldn't cover me on any performance cars, not even my 1600 xr2t.

I've rang around a few.

but haveing problems, as alot dont understand that my Fiesta cossie isn't std, and when i say its modifie'd, they are 'What is it lowered'. lol

best is £1074, 3rd PFT, but any cossie's 3rd party only.

The best with the cossie on 3rd PFT is £1500.

Got to ring a few this week, to see if thats the best.
