Hi all well on the way home last night my saph expired just took the head off for some diagnosis and it appears that the tip off the no4 plug has dissappeared into the engine causing an exhaust valve to melt the rest i guess is history now have the difficult decision of wether to spen the money repairing it or break it and recoup some cash

 

you may just find it was running lean

see, sticking with the T3 was a great idea for reliability

Might as well go greys and T34 now .....

Not really just every now and then in 3rd gear it would stutter under exceleration and the fans started to cut in more and more it has obviously run lean looking at the spray pattern on the pistons it would seem that either all 4 injectors are corrupt or more likely that fuel pump or wiring is to blame! looking at getting it back together soon ive already started to strip it down will put some pics up soon Alex

Yeah wasnt a full blown misfire more of a hesertation! but whatever it was it was fuel related
