I don't understand this just been to see die hard 4 and you can notice it more on a big screen, you see a mk2 fiesta and the car at the end being pushed out of the garage is CLEARLY a SIERRA. But why to they obscure the shape of the front and rear lights in this vid? can't be about copyright cause its another ford! theres also a mk2 fiesta and a mk5/6 escort all with the identies obscured, yet theres a 'normal' focus at the beginning

Mondeo estate looks Nice :

 

like the new mondy but thats deffo a mk2 fez and deffo a sierra at the end, but the answer to my question is they are made out of paper mache with is why they are 'loosely' based on them cars....

deffo a mk5b escort but you cant see that on a small screen, it was really obvious in the cinema

They obviously cant rubbish other makes in their advert, and also dont want to rubbish their previous models either, so have obscured them
Mr average wouldnt notice they were old Ford models!
I had noticed the Sierra at the end, mainly from the rear end, the rear qtr lights are filled in too

 

Peugeot did one very similar with a slight variation on some of there old cars

 

maybe they want them to look a bit shit otherwise people will go out and buy them rather than the new mondeo

saw one today, it's a big fookin thing i tell you, the same but different to the older outgoing models

the rear end is about 3 foot high and looks rear strange
the front looks a bit asnot martin but you've got to see it to understand the similarities as the pics dont do it justice

235/40/18's too so they've gone up a size as well

 

that estate version looks like a saab from the rear, i cant make my mind up what that ad is about (new mondeo) but they would use there own cars i suppose but all them balloons....
