unless its well played with i wouldnt bother, better engines than the standard one. and if its standard why bother playing with it, be just as cost effective (if not cheaper) to build a decent zetec turbo engine.

have you ever seen a fwd 2.1 ZVH car launches.. it really doesn't like it
IIRC a few weeks back on here they were saying its because the ZVH delivers it power in great big lumps instead of smoothly like the vauxhall lumps... not sure how a GTiR lump delivers its power.. but been japanese I would imagine its far better than a ZVH

Also as said above, easy to tune close to 300bhp on a budget

Their was a post the other day about everyone doing the same mods and nobody doing anything different these days, as soon as someone wants to do something different everyone says no dont do it

GTI box is just fine, there a Sunny GTI and a Micra, both from scotland, both FWD using that engine and box combo, both in the mid/low 11s.
