just got this back from swizerland with this new car for some track day fun,











not evan driven it yet, but rear wheel drive and 300 bhp it should be good fun.

did consider a front wheel drive clio but when i had a go in one it seamed a bit slow in a stright line,

its called a clio v6 trophy
built for one make championship from 2001 to 2002 all the same spec with sequantal six speed gearbox data loging and 300 bhp
18" wheels brembos all round ect.

this one has had all the factory upgrades from renault sport and raced to late 2004

first job is second seat in there,

just a bit of fun, may be do a few rounds of LMA series ect,

found i was allways holding back in the DTM merc as its worth a bit,

so i wonted something for around 12k ish

this came in at 16k but with very large quality spares package,

so was reasonble and hopefully i can drive it with no holding back.

must learn how to use the six speed seqencial gearbox

 

I have used that gearbox alot. Its a piece of piss actually mate. Just be positive with it. Use arm not wrist if that makes sense?

Ohhhhh, I just love the Renaut V6.....I was considering one as an alternative to the M5 I bought, I think they're a cracking motor.

As I've said before though, if only Renault Sport had turbo'd them like the original Renault 5 Turbo (Mid Engined Car)....this would have been an absolute winner.

And the later ones did handle, I've been in one...

i had a road going clio v6 in 2005, lots of poke (especially torque) even in going trim with 225bhp, so that should go well being lighter/300bhp/sequential box

Very unstable 120mph + though

 

my race guy said when we get bored of it to twin turbo it!

should be ok for atleast one season

travelled all the way to swizerland to pick it up and now i see one on e/bay in the uk!

still not as nice as this one and the older phase 1 car

and my one has a proper spares package.

 

 

do you know who does this mate. Have a friend with one who wants this done
