I have a navman 510C, its not full postcode search, have the UK speed camera database on it as a POI but I want to upgrade but to what I don't know, what do you lot use? bearing in mind I use it for work and not just for leisure.

My wife has the Navman F20, and it is really good.
I still prefer the 'force' method of navigation

TomTom 510, brilliant!
But I've had to press the tiny hidden away reset button a few times lately as the screen kept freezing.

This is what all the oldies say too and ive proven to all of them that maps are a thing of the past now.
They all went out and bought tomtom's a few days after.
I do 60k+ a year and have tried all types of sat nav and the TomTom's are by far the best in every way!!!
Its the best selling system for a reason. Just take a note of how many tomtoms you see on the motorways compared with other units.

It would be good if it does work mate. Ive tried a fair few of these traffic jam re-router options and not found any reliable ones yet. You just cant trust them imo. Best traffic avoider is the TA on the radio, then 'avoid part of route' on the tomtom. It just means sometimes you have to make instant decisions on which is the best option at the time. Ok the accident could happen within 15 minutes when your close (or whatever intervals they have), but the traffic thingies dont update instantly anyway.

not expensive at all and the time it has saved me sitting in traffic well worth it imo
