about 120miles using M6 toll, so yes, going MEGA fast.

your mate drive something proper quick? if not, hell no.

youd have to be doing 150+ for most the time considering the bits youd no way be able to go anywhere near as fast on.

ignore the time, look at the miles.

motorway goes right near rochdale and coventry so you could technically time it from motorway on ramp to motorway offramp, but thats no less than 120miles using the M5 toll.

he would need to slow to a stop for the M5 toll too, so even if the motrway was properly dead he wopuld need to be consistantly properly going some for the entire rest of the way.

id say you could do that in a Astra VXR fairly easy, obv it jus means you need to average 120mph, but itd have to be a dead quiet night just so he wouldnt have to slow for much.

Lad round here says he can do 27 miles in 9 minutes across country in his M3, so anything IS possible.

when i did my 97miles in 42 minutes, i was seeing speeds (on the speedo) of close to 160 mph
so that's averaging 138.5 mph
and my dad can verify this as he was screwing when we got pulled over on the M25

180mph average is fairly good going on country roads.

It would need to be an 1800bhp one to manage that IMHO, so he is probably correct about it
