I've got a 06 Vivaro. It is utter dog shit.

Much prefer my old 03 plate Toyota Hi-ace.

Nissan / Renault / Vauxhall.....same van mate. Makes no odds which you buy but if it were me it'd be none of those........Sprinters go like feck but rust like hell, Transits are good but expensive as are Transporters.

there is a art to getting round corners in the wet in a 135ps transit, use very little throttle in the first 3 gears

Ive just bought a brand new traffic 115 ps model. I cant fault it. It drives nice for a van, plenty of space, great sounding cd with sat controls, electric mirrors and windows as std with renault not with vauxhall tho we would have paid extra for them. We also got the air con pack too...

Really cant fault it.

Since i've had the vivaro the window winder broke off, stereo died, the abs light stays on, once i was on the way home and couln'd get in second. Had to drive about 20 miles with 1st 3rd 4th 5th and 6th. Its slow as fuck. Laggy. Has a rev limit in every gear. Need i go on?

Overpriced imo transit. We looked at them all and the reason the vivaro/trafic is the most common van on the road now is because its the best value for money without doubt

dont under any circumstances buy any renualt/vauxhall vans, our fleet manager made that mistake and it cost the company dear, the only thing more unreliable than a vivaro is a movano, stick with transits, more initial outlay but far less dosh in the long run

we run traffics at work, they`re shite, gearboxes are shite, uncomfortable to drive, electric power steering keeps going off on them, there is also a known fuel pump problem with them and other renaults they are basically wearing out and sending metal filings through the fuel sytem

I drive a Ren traffic and it has never missed a beat in 2 years of hard abuse and 108000 miles and nothing has ever broke on it except the gear linkage just recently.I think they are a bit too low geared in first and second but once going in 3rd to 6th they r pretty quick vans...as for uncomfortable try doing a long trip in an older merc vito van they r utter shite vans IMO compared to them a traffic is a really comfy motor...

If 15k is 'cheap' then your abviously a ricker man than most of us

I said value for money, the new trnasit isnt worth the extra...thats why ford arent the leaders anymore...like with everything else
