Default Alloys for a Transit van ???

Quick question peeps

i know that a few cossie transits have been done etc etc and have nice alloys fitted etc etc so ........

is there any ford alloys that will fit a 2000 w plate or (smiley front) transit ???

Will summit like scorpio cosworth wheels fit etc being 5 stud or do you have to get after market wheels to suit

thanks for any replies

I think the softline ford 17 inch 7 spokes are available in a transit fitment, as I saw a transit in a mag feature (maybe PF) with them fitted.

old shape(up to 2000) transits are the same stud pattern as p100 pick ups. not sure about granada/mercs though.

no that transit had been converted to 4 stud. dont think granada 5 studs fit either. as said p100's have the same pcd. ford did make some transit alloys but there probably hard to find nowadays. best bet would be to convert the hubs to a different pcd, shouldnt be to difficult

Ford Transit 5 stud is a unique size 5x160pcd, no other Ford alloy will fit without adaptors.

The only vehicle I have found that has the same fitment is a Tata 4x4 which I have on one of my vans, the other van has custom made adaptors but these bring the wheels out past the arches.

5x160pdc is a unique size, just check here, http://www.nice-wheels.co.uk/wheelfit.html looks like you will need to get machined hubs or hub adapters

I still have both of them.

As for wheels if you don't want to mess about there are a few compaines making Transit fitment alloys and there are always a few sets on eBay.
