cars not holding boost ? how do i know if its the actuator ?

cars not holding boost ? how do i know if its the actuator ?
as title really . flys to 20 psi then leave it in gear and it falls to 12 ??
i dont know alot but i would have thought its the actuator but is there away of telling ??
its a S2 by the way

if it was a weak spring in the actuator wouldn't it not even boost to 20psi at all

u can still test ur actuator with a foot pump..........
...
put the pump on here and inflaite..............if it holds pressure its good....

if its a -31, it should move around 4-6mm @ 10 psi.
