Tony, nothing could be further from the truth. We now have a closed diary until around the 2nd week of August.

However, I am fairly sure I spend more time in here than any of the other delegated mods (no disrespect to them, they all look after several other sections too!!).

Alex, I am aware of your PM, but as regular customers of ours realise, with a diary booked well into August (and me as the only point of contact actually actively mapping cars aswell as answering the phone), enquiries have to run on a priority basis.

If you still want me to answer you, I will do my best to do this on Monday, but if you not, let me know.

 

I'd ask Safechav and Nuts RuS to join Christian as Mods if they wanted to do it.Both very helpfull guys,know their stuff and do be in this room a good bit.

And when I read the thread title ,I tought you were looking for new mods for your car!!!!!

I have said before I would do it as this and the resto section are the only 2 sections I go in on this board.

Stu, I think it was originally suggested as, with the greatest respect to the allocated mods, they don't spend alot of time in here (understandably!!). There have been alot of 'For Sale', 'Whats it worth', 'I might be breaking my car' threads in here lately etc that haven't been picked up.

That's not a dig at anyone BTW.

 

In fairness to the mods any spam type posts i've pm'd them have been delt with.

If a post is not appropriate then a simple pm to either one of the mods listed at the top of the forum (Greg Shepherd, Jaycos, The Diva) & a link to the post will see it sorted.

 

There is no problem with that, I have been doing this without issue. Just seems to make sense to have mods who visit the room regularly. I'm not bothered either way.

 

I couldnt agree more Christian, regular visits are needed to ensure this section of the forum is tidy. Which 99.9% of the time it is.
On the odd occasion where a post slips through the net. Following the above proceedure see's it put right.
You use it I use it others use it, no one has issues with that, everyone is playing their part

IMO post count by mods in a given area is not indicative of the time spent by them visiting/carrying out admin duties in it. All to easy to confuse the two.
