Default BBC Weather - Who the hell they got working there

With Castle Combe only a few days away i thought best to get an idea of the weather situation.

With not one day in the last 3 weeks being absent of rain surely we are due a dry day. So on i log to bbc weather to check it out to see whens best to have an afternoon of from work.

Tuesday the forecast is rain for weekend - not looking good im thinking

Tuesday night the forecast for weekend - cloudy with some sun, looking good....

Wednesday the forcast is sun sun sun - BOSS IM DAY OFF THURSDAY. He agrees too class!

Thursday- lets check the weather see how hot its going to be on this sunny weekend.. 21oc

Thursday morning im up early skys semi clear so its looking pretty sweet.
Thursday afternoon - Gushes down with as per normal RAIN.
Checked the weather report - GOD DAM RAIN ALL WEEKEND

HOW THE HELL CAN THE BBC GET THE WEATHER FORCAST SO DAM WRONG.
If theres clouds near its more than likely going to rain so bloddy put that in ya shitty forcasts.

I had the same coversation this morning at work, on the radio, a guy was saying that August was gonna be steaming hot, so everyone was going on about it, until I pointed out that 90% of the time they cant forecast whats gonna happen in a couple of days let alone in a month.

We all went back to being depressed about the weather

What I find funny is that when we had out little heatwave earlier this year they claimed we were going to have a really hot summer.

How wrong could they of been

I still think that Rhianna record being at number one isn't helping tbh

It's very common. The weather is so unsettled, that the computers predictions change all the time. Britain is like no place on earth - the weather is so changable. Its not the BBC's fault - they are doing the best they can, with weather from the MET office.

It's much easier to get a long term forecast right - if they say sunny, then it probably will be. It's this changable stuff that is the problem. Other countries, would just say "changable, with heavy downpours" for the whole country, for the whole week if they had our climate. They wouldn't even try and predict whats going to happen in a couple of days with such an area of low pressure on us. It's shit - but at least we dont get earthquakes.
