going to be swappin engine in my mk4 escort. i already have a mk2 xr2 engine, but obv need some bits lke exhaust etc to put it in the esc.

am i better off gettin an old xr3i spares/repair for the conversion then ive got the lot...inc brakes, and its also inj as well then.

cos bin lookin in the fast ford books and there more powerful as standard and alot more reliable?!?! wot do u lot think??

is it alot bigger job to turn it into inj...obv i would only attempt the xr2 change as i havent got a wrirng loom to contend with.

wot u fink a conversion like this would cost or shal i just stick with the original xr2 lump plan?
