i believe its a common prob with a split hose etc? were abouts? its a mk3 mondeo tdi Y reg

the cars quite flat and just feels like no turbo

 

Is it a TDCi or TDDi in that model??

I blew up a 1.6 TDCi Focus cos the big hose along the front of the engine cracked. Common problem that's happened on most of 1.6 Focus's we have at work, i was just unlucky enough to borrow the one that hadnt been serviced in 34,000 miles

 

its a tddi whats the difference?

 

one of our pool cars is one of them, and yep, boost pipe recently came off, giving you that prob.

check em all out before worrying further

 

normally the one from the inlet to the intercooler !

 

you were bang on mate looking down the front i found a huge split in the pipe i stuck my finger in it lol, suprising they still run really
