Default FAO all those with wierd engine noises....

As there seem to be a fair few of us suddenly with wierd knocks/rattles from the engines after rebuilds i thought id just post it in here

I stripped my bottom end down today to find no damage what so ever to the big end or crank
Decided to take the head off AGAIN(even tho i knew the head was fine) just so i could remove the pistons AGAIN

Anywho, the oil scraper(brand new piston rings etc) on #4 was missing a small chunk. I looked into the sump properly and found said chunk. So had to buy a whole new set of rings even tho this was the only buggered one, put new shells in anyway and ta-da no more knocks. Runs purrrfectly! Thank fook for that

So anyone whos gonna take the sump off to check and finds nothing, check the pistons too
