certain items are only covered up to Ł25
found out the hard way when my brother tried to claim on a letter which he sent recorded delivery that cost a few quid to get from the sloiciters, then it turned up fooked and we had to send another one but royal mail only gave us Ł25

I think std recorded is Ł300, but not sure.
You can just get the forms at the PO, saves hanging around on the phone for years!!

postage scams!!!! everywhere on e bay!! post office are on to it now .
especially mobile phones!!! you wont get post office insurance now if you mention its a cell phone so change discription!!!,
this includes paypal charge backs!!!!!!!!!! send it recorded!!!/signed for-if you dont> whether you have proof of postage or not paypal will refund to the buyer unless tracking is used , two phones sent to f---ing bradford Ł45-plus postage in a rush never got to get it signed for but had reciept of postage!! sounds ok and all sorted? nooooooooo paypal wont accept proof of posting!! had to refund all the cash!! so-he ended up with two phones and all his money back!!
now to combat this in the future-never have much money in paypal-change you bankers card (at the bank-ie lost it!!) paypal isnt notified so you can run on till the renewal date!they cannot get into your account now as its not there!!ha-ha and only suspend your balance in paypal-all for the buyer the same as e bay no security fo seller anymore-and lastly DONT ALLOW ANYONE TO PAY BY CREDIT CARD!!!!! IT COULD BE STOLEN AND YOU COULD LOOSE YOU SALE MONEY AGAIN
>>>>>>>>GOOD OLD PAYPAL<<<<<<<<<<<<<
