Does anybody know any storys about a batch of new cosworth blocks that keep cracking?

yes,seen loads of them cracked,the tuners wont touch them for big power engines,would rather use second hand originals.

It's so bad, that Harvey will now only offer a warranty on a 500+bhp engine IF it has been fitted with Nikasil liners . Seems to be that Cosworth have got the last batch made out of recycled Fiats from the 70's .

they have been about for a few years now,at least 3 years i know of.

Tims right , turkish soft blocks , both Julian and Harvey have had them crack on the Dyno before the customers even taken delivery of them !

if thats true then surly he should be sending them back rather than charging silly amounts for them am sure mike said there around Ł900
