Just wondered if anyone had tried the Turbonetics GT-K series turbos yet?

If so - how did you find them?

Which model did you try?

Where did you source it?

Have you tried running ALS on the Inconel exhaust wheel?

 

Andrew Gallaher (sp?) has now IIRC, tested on Harveys dyno versus the equivalent Garrett GT it seems.

Do a search ("turbonetics" should do it) mate and you should get it.

 

Seen that thread mate - interesting how it performed better than the garrett at lower revs...

I'm just keen to know whether drag anti lag/launch control is going to burn the back of the blades off the exhaust wheel as it does on 25G's and the like...

Also - who (if there) is a Turbonetics distributor in the UK?

 

i sourced mine from america. but since that vince at cr turbos has spoke to turbonetics and becoming an agent in this country

yes it was better than the garret but would of liked to of tried it against the old turbonetics but think the gtk is better quality.
think the ported shroud stops it spooling up too early but not near as bad as the garret
