Default To Magnecor or not to Magnecor- That is THE QUESTION!

Do i pay £61.58 for blue magnecor leads, or go to halfords and pay £30!!

how does one decide!

Standard Ford leads seem to be about the best. Had Magnecor leads on the XR and we noticed no difference whatsoever apart from the bigger dent left in my wallet

Unless it's a high powered turbo car with big ignition voltage requirements you could probably use speaker wire and not notice the difference

only my GTI lol, had the KV85 cables on my old MR2 which were cool, only like em cos there blue but i have a stainless plug cover anyway!

Well, on a Cossie, Magnecor leads interefere with the MAP sensor, but i'm not sure if they cause any issues on your car!

i had magnecor on my cossie and were fine,the only reason i had them was i took my car to be serviced at KENT PERFORMANCE(twat)and without telling me he chucked my ford leads away(or so he said) and put power train ones on,now these are shit they did not fit and when i went to pull away it was like driving a kangaroo,went back to get my old leads and they had been chucked(yeah right)so magnecor did the job as i was not gonna pay ford £200+ for new ones,

nothing wrong with that! i got a custom sprayed rocker cover, colour coded to the car... and stainless plug cover, will they fit at 98 GTI though?! maybe i will have to ring magnecor and check?
