Default Need a new car....

And have no inspiration!!!

Looking for something coupe-ish, no older than year 2000, must look good, be reliable for my 40 mile round trip to work everyday etc etc etc...

been thinking about one of these.....

please don't let the missus get her own way and make me buy one of these

Anyone got any other suggestions?? Maximum budget is £5500.

Cheers
Rich

yes i did think golf/A3, but I think they are all a little overpriced, think i can get more for my money elsewhere. But no disrespect to them, the germans do make a fine car I would like a nice V6, although it can't be too thirsty, as i do about 20k a year all in.

can't remember what it was, but there is an issue on these cars with the engine, do a bit of digging about and find out if it is just a certain model before you buy

THIS is what came up when I searched "fast" in autotrader. Just out of your budget but will suit you perfectly

ok thanksfor all the help guys!!

mate has just bought one of those alfas, they are really nice looking cars, bit still a bit old man ish???

The subaru is also a good looking car, a tadge out of my price range tho

And i detest vauxhalls, so no thanks

Did think about the bmw, but there is nothing within my price range that is half decent. Think a bmw will be pretty costly to maintain too.

I do like the peugeot 406 coupe, but a bloke at work has one. He also as a bald head, wears leather driving gloves, and wears white socks with sandals.

Fuck me i'm too fussy!!!!!!

Whats anyones opinions on a ford cougar??? Even though i don't want another ford

really don't want another big car just yet, the st diesel mondy will be a long way out of my price range.

I am tempted by a v6 cougar, seem to be reasonably cheap.
