RS 2000 MK6 / escort gti mk6 rear disk conversion HELP ?

Hi i have bean looking to put a rear disk conversion on my escort gti
now i have bean told that the rs2000 rear disk pads calipers and hup will swop over to go on mine is this true ?
1 more question is someone els has said that the 4x4 rs2000 will not fit my gti something about the 4x4 hass a hub and mine has a axel
so if im thinking right thier must be a rs 2000 2 wd witch also has the set up i want to put on the back of
my gti

you cant use the 4x4 stuff.
you can use the 2wd stuff tho, but you will need the complete rear beam as the stub axles have a different bolt patter to mk6, unless you can find a mk6 rs2k rear brake setup.
if you can, you need
hubs/stub axles, discs callipers pads and handbrake cable.
if its all off a mk5 then you will need the rear beam aswell

If your GTI has ABS then you can't go the RS2000 route. If your car doesn't have ABS then it's a straight forward bolt on job. You'll need a MK6 RS2000 (non-ABS) handbrake cable and possibly (like I did) an upgraded master cylinder.

MINE HAS ABS
and im haveing trouble finding a rs2k 2wd
found some on ebay they all asking £200 and they wont post so a caria be £45 i feal the back going to get a good kicking ha ha ha
anything els i need to no before i take this conversion on ?
