Local rag following on from the Hatfield Tunnel racers post. I want to see what they say if the percentage sways to people saying speed isn't a problem.



Unfortunately the paper is largely read by the Guardian readers who all want people to recyle their own shit and never drive anywhere

Not condoning crap driving but this bunch of clowns just go over the top and start squeeling speed bumps and cameras at the slightest bump

As said I don't condone bad or dangerous driving but the old "speed" kneejerk answer is really doing my tits in.

I read that last week as a guy from work had the paper with him..... summit like "racing at upto 115mph thru the tunnel"...... Thats fuck all I told him I've been thru there on the limiter in 5th in my old Saff....pmsl

i agree it is the stupid drivers that make the insurance companies paint with a very broad brush (about a size 17-25)... and to travel at those speeds on the motorway with other drivers about is irresponsible... but it is also what the goverment are doing to try and stop it that is the worst bit... they arent trying to stop it as such... but hoping it will sort itself out by pricing young drivers out of the ability to drive!

as you can see... this gets me well annoyed...
