Hiya peeps

My mate James needs a distributer for his RST... we went for a rolling road setup the other day, and the guy said he could of got alot more out of th RS if he didnt have a fiesta dizzy in! (is this a usual trick when you cant gat the gen article?)

So long an short of it is, James wants an RST dizzy... he's got cash, and will travel. Please help him, he's doin my tits in moaning about it.....!

Well they do look exactly the same as an Xr2 one or 1600ghia; TBH I didn't think there was any difference ? But someone did tell me once that the weights are different or something inside - don't know really

James got a semi-scrap one, and he's getting it refurbed... they have a small timing mark on the lip, that is about 3mm further round on the genuine dizzy, compared to the fiesta one... could that be the diff? slightly retarding the timing mebbe? (I'm just guessing, really, so correct me if I'm wrong)

 

Hmm.. just thinking back to my S2. IIRC i think i put an xr2 one on mine, and could never get the timing right - sold it before sorting it out though, doh
