URGENT WARNING TO ALL MEN
i am a member on here already but have made this new account so i can warn you of a serious matter without me getting any sympathy as i dont want this to affect my life anymore than it already has done.
about 4 months ago i was diagnosed with testicular cancer and just had one of my little men cut off.
<------- reel fucking tears
i had an ultrasound last week followed by an mri scan and just got back from the docs today and he just told me the cancer has spread to my stomach and base of my spine.
to say i am totally devastated is an understatement not for myself but for my family.
its not classed as terminal but after another operation the chances are my life wont be normal to say the least.
the problem is i noticed a lump about 3 years ago and did nothing about it. over the last 2 years on and off i had been feeling really tired and just generally had no energy. eventually i went ot the doctors and had a full medical and blood tests.
i suppose being a bloke i had the mentality of not worrying about anything till it i had to and left it way to late.
my message to all you blokes out there is check your tackle often and dont be afraid to go to the doctors. they can cure most things if they catch it soon enough. if this warning helps just one person then that will make me feel better.

You get my sympathy and well deserved, I am so sorry for you.
I think you are right about the bloke thing though.
I admire you for posting a reminder like this, and hope your life is as good as it can be, in the circumstances.

Don't fret too much Jon this is very curable these days.
I went through it all over 10 years ago now. I found a lump which I didn't do anything about for months. It grew quickly so I bit the bullet and went to see the Doc. A week later I was lighter on one side
I then had the scans which showed it had spread to my lymph nodes down the side of my spine and like you this was the biggest shock. When you have you ball chopped of you think your fixed and when they tell you its spread inside then thats when it really hits you that you could die.
Anyway 4 sessions of chemo and a major operation later and I was fine. All in all it was 10 months of crap but I'm fit an healthy and have been for 10 years.
Chin up dude and put a brave face on, you'll soon be out the other side!

Mate, I know this is a serious blow to you.
But, this exxact thing happened to my mate. And I mean exact. He endured a couple of years of hell, but he's been clear for 3 years now, and now has a 1 year old kid.
It IS cureable. I really hope you can get through this like he did.
I have my fingers crossed for you mate
I feel for you m8, i'm currently undergoing chemotherapy for Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in my neck
Luckily it appears to be localized there, however there is a question mark over a fractured bone in my groin....
as the man said, check yourselfs regularly, trust me you don't want to be having operations, chemotherapy and radiotherapy its not pleasant! not to mention the mental stress it puts on you and your friends/families...
Smokers take note!

Easiest way I found to check is to give em a good cupping and feel in the shower,
Thats unless your a smelly fucker who dont shower
Wounded for you fella, Big C of the town hall's is 1 of my biggest fears in life.

All the best in a speedy recovey mate. Cancer is not nice
Why the shame though and having to hide behind another username??
Ok i re-read the first bit about no sympathy but illness can affect you in funny ways and if people dont know then they might just think your being a cunt

Don't panic though if you find one as you can get cysts which aren't cancerous.
