Default 5th Injector Drivers.....

How do they work?

Do they rely on boost? rpm? throttle position??

Thanks,

Steve

So I could make my own injector driver using a pressure switch in the inlet?

Buy the kit and do it properly. When these things are DIY'd they have a horrible habbit of ending in expensive tears

scort, i'll be running a 5th injector setup with a pressure switch but i'm also going to get an AFC running as well, and the 5th injector will be a little larger than i need. I can then lean out the normal injectors when under 'boost' for a bit of fine tuning, well as fine as you can get on a budget.

I see,

Its for a project. I have a boost retard unit. Its for a janspeed sierra.

If i had a tell tale light on the dash, coming on at the same time as the injector, then it would act as a safety mechanism.

What is an AFC?

air fuel controller...

basically, as far as i know it just manipulates the air flow signal to the ECU, tricking the ECU to either run lean/rich at specific RPM's and throttle position etc.. I was thinking i could just switch the airflow signal in and out between the original one and the AFC one using the pressure switch.

hope that makes sense.
