Default series one rear brake conversion to discs

can any help me the all the info i need to change the rear drum to discs.if i do this what holds the caliper on and looking at the drum it is a lot deeper than a dics does it have to be space out.does any one sell the full fitting kit

You would need a Hub made for the wheel bearing. Mounting Plates for the caliper carriers. Mine on my 2i needed spacing but not much.
You'd need a handbrake cable also. Nice set of braided lines to.

MikeyXR2i i got a rear disc setup from burtons but i never got no hub made for wheel bairings i dont think

Yeah, its the bit that the wheel bolts to with the studs sticking out,(saying that its an S1 so would be wheel bolts) and the bearings in the middle.

You use the same hub that the drum previously screwed to!

You just need the conversion brackets, calipers, brake lines and a mk5 RS2000 handbrake cable.

And as for spacing, you'll find the discs push your wheels out further than previously so you will get issues with rubbing if you have big wheels

Ahh didn't know you could use your original hub.
On My fiesta the studs were built into the drum (no hub).
But of course S1 Different
I used an RS2000 cable also.

enough to make a significant difference if you have big wheels, if not it wont be an issue
