Anyone ever been driving down the road at 60 when you here a massive bang and the sunroof is missing out your car????
Was driving to work thi smorning at 6 when i heard this massive bang looked up and the sunroof was missing!!!! it tore the glass clean out the roof and obviously smashed behind me!!!
Hoiw hard are these to fit as i will have to change the whole mechanism and has anyone close to oxford got one????

mines popped open but never came out now the question can you weld a plate in its place

Way to change is wind it all the way back (even though there is no glass) when back the furthest it can go undo all the screws you can see and the 2 winder screws inside the car...

When all of them are undone slide the whole thing out up and out forwards. The runners and everything will come out in one go...

To replace it get a new glass/runners in one bit as it's a lot easier.

just when replacing the runner etc place it in the way you took it out
