It really fucks me off when parents bleat to the papers about fronting Blair, and asking why there son has died. What about all the soldiers killed in northern island? When they were getting shot or blown up every day no one gave a fuck.
I was a service man for 13 years, saw action in the first gulf war, ni, bosnia. Lost mates along the way.

If I was emergency services, yes I would take a risk, but I would also expect to be mended if anything happened to me.
