The powers that be, told them the air was safe to breathe. The same powers that be who are refusing them funding for treatment.
If I was emergency services, yes I would take a risk, but I would also expect to be mended if anything happened to me.
Point taken about "no legal" wars. If someone out and out invades another country, then fair enough... (without going into that any further
), but who was Saddam going to invade this time? The US or UK? You may "justify" it by his treatment of the Iraqi people, but as has been said before, why don't we bomb the fuck outta Zimbabwe or some of the other countries ruled by "oppressive dictators".
