not true, boost does not come in harder as the lift off pressure is still the same

well i brought the -31 actuator and fitted it this morning. theres deffinetly a diifernce compared to my standard but i think that might be something to do with the extra boost it seems to be running. i guess the car isnt chipped as it seems to be hitting the boost limiter at about 15 heres a pic of my boost guage i am reading it right arnt i the 15 is 15 psi thanks

hi i cant really tell with the weather being bad if it will hold 15 psi or if it goes a bit higher due to the rain it just keeps spinning up like mad. it might be creeping over that but its definetly hitting the boost limiter about 15. i only have a pipe connected from my actuator to the compressor so ive been out and brought a 2 way bleed valve so i can adjust the boost down a touch and see if it holds there ok. am i right in thinking if the bleed valve is screwed in it will lower the boost thanks

il get it sorted in the week hopefully the rain will go away and we will finaly get some summer if it will hold 15 psi will that be a safe enough level of boost. the engine was rebuilt 3000 mile ago and it has a hybrid turbo thanks for the advise

what intercooler is on your car if standard imo 12 psi would be best although to be honest i think you will be better of taking it for a setup its not just a case of putting a bleed valve on and running x amount of boost that is what alot of peaple do and then moan that rst are unreliable always blowing up etc

you cant adjust the boost down,a bleed valve bleeds air to up the boost, you have it set at 15psi actuator pressure, youll need to unscrew the actuator to reduce the boost
