What tyres do you guys run and why?
Ok, not size wise, but what actual model of tyre do you run?
I am on the hunt for a good alround tyre. My XR2 turbo gets driven everyday, hard, come rain sleet or shine and, at the moment, it's adorned with some lush Nankang Ditchfiners
(previous owners choice, not mine).
They are nowhere near the tread marks, but I am getting sick of understeering towards barriers in the wet
Obviously, i don't want some R888's as I have heard they are just abismal with the slightest bit of moisture, but I have heard the Eaagle F1's are a good tyre.
Give me your opinions guys

I tried eagle f1's in a fwd fitment and IMO they're distinctly average
I have used Toyo T1s/r and they are good in a fwd application ( shit in rwd, the sidewalls are quite flexy ) if not a little soft. ( but dirt cheap from mytyre )
Also liked my bf goodrich profiler g's
You'll need 15" or smaller to get the best out of your fiesta

I had Bridgestones on my Focus and they lasted for ages, that was with a lot of mileage in all weather, used the car every day. Not cheap, but worth the money in my opinion.
Think I've got Pirelli's on the my Fiesta, the grip's good but no idea how well they last as I haven't had it long enough.

Eagle F1s. Had them on the cossie and now have them on the Evo.
Also have T1Rs on the track wheels for the Evo... they aren't too bad on the road, but on track they squeal like fuck.
Prefer the Eagle F1s for road use.

P6000's up front, and a dunlop and a conti on the back. fleetlease company don't seem to be able to make up their mind as to what tyres they allow kwik-fit to put on
The conti is the only original ford factory tyre
I've got some Arrowspeed's on the wife's Puma 1.7 too.... cheap as chips

I tried eagle f1's, good tyre all round... currently running parada's, never again. Total and utter shite.
Back to toyo t1-s's next if I can find a set! The new t1-r's are on par with the f1's imho
Greatest tyres in teh world without a doubt are accccceleraaa's
gives that authentic 'cruise' smell and plenty of smoke.

I would love to be able to get A008, they were awsome.
I have had F1 an ALL the ones I had developed a BULGE in the tyre sidewall, some on inside edge some outside edge, have heard/read it's very common for these tyres, which in my opinion are great but certainly NOT the best all round.
I like UNIROYAL RAINSPORT 1's, but on other car have TOYO T1R's, which are better than the "S".
Dad recently put some T1R on his mondy, in place of(more) BULGED F1's and rates them better, certainly feel a lot nicer, they don't grip as well, though but they are best for the money.
