anyway, i know it has been done, but i'd like to know if anyone has got any information on how its done? what parts are needed? any special fabrication needed, etc? got a mate in need of a project and the two donor cars are sat in our local scrappy just begging to be sorted with some v8 power!

Reedy as in half a red Cecotto
That 318i has been wrote off he was going to put it in a M3 shell but now putting a S50B32 in.
There are a couple of M60/M62s around.
Someone has a TVR/Rover V8 in a car and is now aiming for 4 figure hp
The E30 M3 with an LS1 was an awesome machine!

Also selling a supercharged 325 touring.
Hope Reedy gets back on the road ASAP, especially with that new engine. They make cars so much better! Don't suppose you know any specs of it?
Here's a video of the car in question:

yeh Dips is a top bloke - also got a ver nice saff cossie which is for sale too.
Clive is the guy from Prism and he certainly knows how to fabricate and very good at what he does. He works from home now and I have to say his workshop is soo clean you literally could eat your dinner off it.

Fuzzy get your coat.
I know he is going N/A high comp and all that but just would like to know specs. I know he said he found the engine in a barn and got it cheap
Yep there could be a M3 shell for sale soon too which could be what he needs.

Block was then kept and EVERYTHING else is brand new
Its swings and roundabouts with power as too much will make it shit on the road so I dont know if its going to be a 9k + revver, although it will scream and be more than enough to get away from any drink drivers
Lmao!
It depends what cams he goes for my dad has 284/284 and it makes it drivable and from 4k onwards is just a beast!
My dads is limited at 8.2k which is pretty much where power starts to drop off, i think you would need lairy cams and pretty high comp to be revving up to 9k.

Well the engine that is used in the race car is just over 298hp, it is used for endurance racing and tbh dont live much under 7k for a few hours
I'm not speccing it, its just the guy prepping a shell for me that is, the guy doing the head is called Nick Waples, very well known in the Ford world and did have a lot to do with just many race teams in the 80's
Can't wait to see it done myself, not sure he quite realises how awesome its actually going to be, should think its the last thing on his mind at the moment
Dont try and get anything else out of me as I dont know much about specs except its all new and cost him a few quid as any m3 engine does to tune
