Has anyone seen or heard any spec reports about the
RS cossie Focus that should be out next year?

I cant see them bringing it out now...
Took long enough to bring out the focus RS.
We can live in hope tho! Espec if its anything like the A1 Rallysport car!

i would hope they will bring out a 300bhp car as this is really
whats needed to keep up with other car makers

it would be nice to see ford do a turbo'ed cossie version
of the st220 engine. why if ford can build an engine as good as the st's why cant they get there ass in gear and turbo it for the RS boys.

LOL well there must be a market for cars like that
as nearly every other car maker is starting to build
250-300bhp cars.

Don't forget, even when Ford didn't own Cosworth, they had the rights to use the Cosworth badge on vehicles, hence why there wasn't a Merc Cosworth or Vauxhall Astra 16v Cosworth (badged).

I'd also find it strange for the new owner of Cosworth not to do engine development work for other manufacturers (as now), as that'd be one expensive inhouse R&D dept.
