what size exhaust housing has it got
what actuator
the exhaust wheel blades should have NO chips out of them
the very small hairline cracks wont affect boost

In the inlet of the exhaust housing where it bolts to the manifold, there will be numbers.
They will be hard to read, and need a clean up to do so.

Its possible you have a much larger exhaust housing than required.
Or the actuator is suited to the turbo correctly.
