Flywheel Bolts
You can get a flywheel locking tool, or get a friend to lock it with a screwdriver in the core-plug hole.
Alternatively you have to take the sump off and stop the flywheel turning with a block of wood.
You'll have the same problem torquing it up again too

i used the battery clamp, take one of them off and put the bolt through the bellhousing bolt (top under the dizzy) and wedge the edge of the clamp into the flywheel teeth. did the same thing for tightening it up too.

That tool works by locking into the ring gear and pushing/pulling in the opposite way to the bolt your removing. If that makes sense.
Like you would if you were un-doing a nut and bolt with 2 spanners.

There is a much smaller tool about which just bolts onto one of the bell housing holes, and has a tooth which locks into the flywheel ring gear.
That other tool looks a right handful to use

This is the one you want

If its just for a one off though im sure you would be able to make something like it to lock the flywheel.
