Default 3 Door Cosworth ??

Hi just been offered a 3 door Cosworth but its been standing about 5yrs in a dry garage, it was taken off the road because of head gasket failure. The cars in fair condition but going to need full engine rebuild and new suspension as its too low, now its a D reg any idea on what its worth please ??

I would say whatever they can get for it, about £3500 at most, as with everything though it's what someone is willing to pay ?

Depends on whether it really does need a "full rebuild" - a full rebuild is £2k absolute minimum - but you said it was taken off the road due to head gasket failure? I'm hearing two different things here.

If it needs a full engine rebuild then Tabetha's price of £3k - 3.5 sounds right.

But I'd like to have a good look at that shell rust-wise after all that time sitting in a barn.

Totally depends on the condition of the car and mileage and history.

If in good nick, low miles etc etc it would be worth £8-9k for example, then subtract the rebuild (or is it just headgasket and tidy up?) and suspension £300.

It could be worth a lot more than £3.5k, just depends, nobody can realy say from the info available so far.

So where do they rot iv been told that rear foot well is pron ??

yep, mine was in a bad shape when i brought it.

mines haveing floorpans,
inner and outer sills
inner and outer front wings,
both rear arches
a boot floor
