Default another hdtv question for you now

custom made £300 brackets for the telly in question to hang it on the wall or generaic £50 ones from ebay that do the job just as wall?

if i get the proper ones i can have the telly up this evening

if i wait for the ebay ones it'll be next week

£300?? have you got a woolworths near you, i'm sure i saw some in my local store...or curry's/any electrical retailer.....i wouldn't pay £300 for summat you won't see!

Try Richer Sounds.....I got a proper heavy duty one that had been used for the demo models in the shops....should of been £110.....I paid £30!!

You can get one size fits all brackets dirt cheap, just make sure it's rated high enough to support the size and weight of your exact telly. Plasma's and LCD's have fittings on the back that support these one size fits all brackets as we used a couple at work, for a Hitachi plasma, and a Philips one too.

I have a feeling the name for the brackets is a VESA bracket....thats the name of the fixings that are the standard for nearly all tellys

got the £50 one from ebay which supports the hitachi telly, which is about the 40kg mark

this new fucker is much hevier, and it properly needs 2 peole to shift it so i'd say it was much bigger on the brackerty side of things

i can't find the one i bought of off ebay last year though, that was a big bastard, it had about 15 bolts through the back into the wall which weren't coming out and pleny in the back of the telly and then you just hooked it over the top of the frame and job done
