Right after a week of drivin i still think my fans r cuttin in far 2 much n my temp gauge in the dash isnt exactly the best
so yesterday i fitted a revotec temp gauge, looks good and from what i can c works really well,
But from what i can c looks like my fans r cuttin in bout 85/90c n cuttin back out at 80, does this sound right?
The sender 4 the gauge is in the hose leadin from the block 2 the rad, i would have thought that they r cuttin in 2 soon,
" b fair at this time of year this aint no bad thin least it stops everthing over heatin but its a bit of a pain in the ass,
Can the Thermostat in the bottom of the rad go weak?

There is NO thermostat in the bottom of the rad.
There is a switch for the fans in the bottom of the rad, so I assume this is what you refer to ?
If the fans are cutting in and out and bringing the temperature down, they are doing their job, they DO stay on a long time, especially if it is 2wd(?)
Your fans sound perfectly normal in their behaviour, you worry too much.
