Default Insurance

I had insurance on a 106 1.4d for a provisional licence which was £880 - I passed my test about a month ago, so will i have to pay extra to change my insurance to a full licence? How much does it go up by?

No when i did this 10 years ago,

but simple answer, phone your insurance company up and ask them, they will give you 100% right answer, unlike asking everyone on a forum

more than likely will go up due to a major factor YOU'LL be able to drive now WITHOUT an experienced driver beside you!

Chip they may very well do if it's his own policy as he will be able to drive the car more often, when you are on a provisional you must have an over 21 with you at all times in the car -so I think he will be MUCH more of a risk in the insurance companies eyes now.
I know I was

That's the problem though mate you think you're more than capable. In reality as a new driver it is now you start to learn to drive.

Hell I know how bad I was with my first car hence how I put it through a hedge and destroyed a post box. I shudder now at how bad I was but at the time thought I was invincible
