Nokia N73 like ?


I can upgrade my phone tomorrow and not sure what to go for, would like to stick with Nokia.


Been looking on the 02 website and noticed the N73, Anyone got one ? If so what they think of it ?

Been looking at the N95 too, does look a lot cooler that the N73.


Looks like i will have to pay Ł80 for it tho

 

i dont rate any of the N series phones, symbian software is slow, not really that user friendly

they go faulty a lot, lot of software problems

get a nokia 6300, quality little phones

still got 2mp camera n memory card etc etc, but use nokia series 40 software

the software format that nokia's are known for

 

are you really gonna use all the features on a phone like that? or just getting it cos you can?

Has got some cool features, but like you say, i may never use many of them.

I would like a good camera and video on there tho, so it may be worth getting that phone for those features.

I cant find at the moment what memory it has

N73 is utter shite, counting down the weeks til i can get an upgrade, had mine since it came out. Got latest firmware on it and it is still slow as shit.

Same deal with all the N Series phones to be honest, camera is great but the camera software is really slow to take pics sometimes, and then store an image in the gallery so you can take another pic. Drives me up the wall sometimes

i have an N95..camera and video camera is fantastic, comes with 165mb memory ( i think ) but you can get 1 or 2gb memory cards for about Ł10-Ł20 from play.com, this means you can take hundreds and hundreds of pics

 

E65's seem ok, again tho they use S60 symbian software

so no doubt have software issues

i haven't had that many of them in for repair so that means either they're pretty reliable or Nokia have sold fuck all!

 

i really would recommend avoiding N series handsets if you want a 'phone' that makes calls

 

Ditto about the Nokia 6300, a cracking phone

 

admittedly they can suffer, but i can put up with slightly slower running in order to have so many features i think it looks cool too

there are far too many phones to choose from nowadays anyway, some right crackers out there...

 

I'm going to the dark side when i get rid of this N73, Samsung U600 looks tasty..... even though i vowed never to have a samsung again after getting an a300 all those years ago, and i hated it. Have used a D600 recently though and they seem like good phones nowadays

 

I had an N73, but went back to my 6230i. Was far too tricky to use and SO SO slow.

Then I got had on Ebay and some scamming CUNT stung me so I lost Ł250 on it.

 

My N73 has been a total disaster from Day 1.......

and my O2 contract has also been a total disaster.


My advice, get a different phone, and ditch O2

Will have a look at other Nokia's and see if there are any i fancy. I hate it when i come to upgrade, can never choose a phone i like

 

other than the n95, my other half has a sony ericsson k900i (i think.. not too sure on the model no.) but that's a great little phone. photos often come out better on her 3mp camera than on my 5mp one... especially indoors.
