ok so i've been spending some time applying for any kind of job recently. I've applied for quite a few on S1jobs.com. I get a phone call this morning at 10:10, i'm still in bed...

I still have my bed voice on and she can't hear me very well lmao

. Then she asks all these questions that i havn't prepared for like..

"What qualities do you think you have to work in telesales?"
"Why do you want to work in telesales?"

i felt like jsut telling her i need a ferking job and i'm good at bullshitting people! Anyway, she said she'd phone back at a more suitable time lmao

So what i need now is answers to the above questions that's if she actually calls back I hate surprise phone interviews

Anybody else done the same sorta thing? it's a fecking nightmare.. i just end up silent and she's like "hello?" i can safely say i fecked that one up.

(Just got an email back to arrange an interview for a Network Service Systems Analyst post )

 

I know you'll get a few "funny" answers, and they'd normally be from me

But seriously:

1. "I'm persistent, organised and thorough. I'm also a naturally positive person and deal well with negative people."

2. "I want to work in telesales because I enjoy the highly charged atmosphere and more importantly the fact that my earning potential will be almost uncapped"

If you don't get the job she'll probably want to at least give you the nosh

Those sound like good enough answers to me mate, if she phones back i can atleast say something to her lol

Most important thing in telesales [but don't overkill it on the phone] is the fact you're keen to earn good money, cos of course you're earning more for them
