Got one needs the interior retriming & a few bits & bobs nothing major at all 1976 mk2 rs2000 think the colour is carnival red but to be cofirmed if anyboady knows let me know

Thnks tabetha im not going to modify the car in any way it has capri legs & is lowerd a bit & has a lsd im going to get the standard air box for it & try & get the interior back to as near mint as i can i dont want it to be concourse & be afraid to use it i just want it to be a mint useable classic

 

until the yb goes in next summer!!!!

but it wont be happening if i wanted one with a yb i would have bought a standard 3 door mk2 and would have got andrew to build one. this one will stay as is

Well i havent even had it a week & the interior is going to get retrimmed in the original cloth.Expensive job
There is a small scab of rust on the o/s roor at the bottom so i received a new o/s door skin today its going to get that done & in the next few weeks get fully repainted.
The car is carnival red just now 12 years ago it had a colour change(no idea why)it is the original shell ect so the owner must just have fancied a change.
its original colour is signal orange so its going back to original.
The engine bay is also getting painted & engine getting cleaned up & the points system getting swapped for a more a more reliable elec ignition system.
Radiator will get recored new timing belt & fan belt & so on..
