Halfords do the Champion one and IIRC it cost me Ł14. It's a part they carry in stock

I think Ł14 is correct, make sure you replace the little copper washers a the same time.

Well, to be honest, I'm sure that I only paid about Ł8.00 for the last one I had from Ford. Thats why I asked.

I have just ordered on and the Retail Price is Ł17.29 + VAT!!!

Bloody hell!!

Can anyone explain why Fords pricing structure seems to involve plucking a figure from the air??

Surely it can't be right. They just seem to guess.

cos it was a pattern part

bought a fuel and oil filter together from ford last year & it came to $15. have noticed prices rising lately though!

Yeah defo do that, I couldn't find mine so used the old ones, had a fuel fountain in the engine bay

When there was a problem with supplying eashers, I bought about 20 of each ROFL

I got one recently (1 month back) cost me Ł12 ish (Ford Main Dealer)

know what you mean wes!! i did the same & fuel was pissing all over the gearbox! when i took them off there was only a slight imperfection in one of them & that was enough for it to spray out like that!!

yeah there the same as fords anyway, i bought a halfords one as fords never even held it i stock

got it home and there halfords wrote on the fooking filter

so i sprayed it

You were conned, they ran out and went to Halfords. Should have Motorcraft on them Heard bad things about the Champion ones, anyone verify?

no i went tp fords they didnt hold em in stock so i went to halfords ( where i work) and bought one from there i then sold it on sprayed for 35 quid

some lad called artist on max power is selling them in the for sale section for a fiver, not sure if he has more than 4 left though now so hurry.
