Does anyone know the finis code? As the previous owner of my car bougt something from Ford that looks very, very similar!

Part number according to the invoice is 1667248 and it cost Ł6.65 including VAT from Ford. This was in October 2005 though!

 

I've got a very mint one to sell, when i changed mine (for the sake of it ) the old one looked no different

 

christ last time i brought one of those it was about 3 quid got a brand new 1 chucked in the glovebox

 

I thought these were still available.

there was a throttle cable on the other day and it went for 30 odd pound

they are still available from ford !! a tenner !!!

 

I bought 2 2 months ago from Ford Ł12 each ( didn't realise Ford had put the prices up just said to the parts guy order them!).
When i bought my previous 2 they were Ł8 for the pair.
End of day some people will pay what they want for parts, unfortunately that bumps the price up for the rest of us.I will continue to buy parts from ford that are reasonable in price if available even if i dont need them, so that Ford might believe there is demand and will continue to stock them or that no matter what i might have the spare i or other RS owners need.
