Default "fuel low" light blinking - anyone got an idea?

Hi folks!

Anyone got an idea what could cause the "fuel low"-light to blink?

It blinks for about 20sec, then stays dark and does not come on even if the fuel-tank is empty

maybe some kind of error code or just a sign that the connection to the sensor is not ok?

what do you think?

Yeah chap, sounds like a failed connection to the sender.....all the level displays work the same way, disconnect the washer fluid bottle and the warning lamp will copy that of your fuel level lamp.
