Default My day with Poorboys polish........

Firsty many thanks to GAZ7

Well, I have to say that i really rate the Poorboys polish.

I went and bought a buffer, not the greatest but at £14.99 from Focus DIY it does the job, even though its only rated at 90w and 2500rpm.

So i started it all at 12pm, and finished at about 6 pm tonight as there was 5 stages.

I washed the car in Meguiars shampoo and then dried it off. Poorboys polish which is blue and smells stunning, was then added. After it dried, and a brew, it was buffed off.

This was then added, Red moose wax,

What surprised me is despite the shampoo and first polish theres all this dirt STILL coming off :17115:

At this point the buffer had a nervous breakdown so i trundled off to get a replacement STILL with the polish on :00000954:

After a replacement buffer and taking off the polish she looks like this

This was then added Carnauba mouse wax

Again after all the polishing the pad looked like this afterwards

The car now looks like this

with flash

without flash

So now the final stage. This. EX

(check out the reflection so far)
Yet again the shocking amount of dirt STILL being lifted is amazing

And that guys is as far as i have got, due to a few family issues tonight, This wax isleft on 30- 60 minutes to acheive a deep shine. Im going to leave it on all night, buff it off tomorrow. Ill then detail my allies etc, and post up the finished piccies tomorrow.

Okay, this morning i was a up early to take off what i thought was the last coat. The EX had been sat on the car for 2 nows and was still easy to buff off. The weather isnt bright here but the reflection is really good.

See what you think now guys.

No more Mer or Meguairs for me!!!

KSA-only one head mate, came with 2 different cloths, but you can get the replacement ones for £1.99 from Halfrauds.

No you can't get it in shops.

Oh and btw, EX is meant to come before the wax... the wax seals it all in better!

Still, it looks BLOODY shiney!
