Right folks, Im not exactly a frequent poster on here
but certainly like how entertaining the forum can be
Got a predicament which I hope the PF massive can help me decide on.
I have got to order a new Co car and have narrowed it down to three choices. We get a shit deal at work which I dont want to bore you lot with so what would you have and why out these three:
1.Skoda Octavia vRS 2.0T(197 Bhp)
2.Renault Megane Sport Lux 2.0DCI 3door (175 Bhp)
3.Alfa Romeo GT 2.0JTD (140Bhp).
My out going car is a Seat Leon Cupra TDI (150Bhp) with a remap Ahem
All of the above choices are similar in cost and costs in terms of tax purposes.
Skoda - Pro's- Vag build quality, bigger car, quickish but easy to make faster!
Con's - Its a Skoda,not much standard kit
Renault - Pro's- Looks the business IMO, good standard spec,Brembos 18" wheels etc
Cons - Build quality,reliabilty,will it last 3 years and 80ish K miles
Alfa - Pros - Another good looking car IMO,bit more exclusive/Stylish etc, good spec as standard.
Cons - Build quality/reliabilty, more of a cruiser?
Help me decide!

it depends on your needs!...
if its long motorway driving with high miles, then the VRS
if its more for show when you pull up to a company, then its the alfa
if its not any of the above, then the megan!

Head telling me the vRS but my heart is torn between the other two.
If only the Focus ST had a cleaner engine...
the skoda wins it hands down
even if someone else is picking up the bill, the megans are supposed to be crap at everything other than the handling and teh alfa's. well, how long do yuo want it to spend in the dealers
the alfa should win if your not bothered about making it there 10 minutes quicker in the vrs

another thing to think about, is that you can have those JTD's mapped to circa 200bhp... so it can potentially rip the shit out of the other two... the only thing is you would probably have to have one of those chip things that you can take off, so that when you og to a dealer, they dont notice anything wrong....
