AND ARE YOU HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE YOU GET

As some of you may know I started a club a few years ago, the main reason was due to the piss poor service I got for the money I paid from the club I was in at the time...

This is in no way meant to be a recriutment drive for my club...BUT after speaking to various other clubs, both members and people who run them, I honestly dont understand why people are in these clubs!!

My club charge £10, you get a mag 6 times a year, a club website and forum, a sticker when you join, the chance to attend shows across the entire country (this year alone we've done 20+) merchandise, track days, Pub meets across the Country the list goes on.. when we plan the shows at the begining of the year, a list is sent to every member, all the big shows, Fordfair,Trax etc, a booking form is sent!!

And yet when I speak to members of other clubs they get fuk all, or at least so it appears... if the people who organise shows don't fancy a particular show they dont even give the option of going...some clubs dont even have a mag!! When I asked about members that where not online, the answer I got was "they dont find out anything" and a laugh!

I don't understand!! is it just me or do people enjoy being ripped off?

Well this is the reason I joined Fordsport, was with the XROC for a year. Couldn't get on the forum or nuffink and got some mag that was the same size as ours (now that I write most of the articles for fordsport god help us) and I paid 2.5 times more money, the only extra I got was a tax disc holder and keyring. And I had to pay extra for the key ring.

never went to the meets, didn't know where they were. The people who had contatc numbers and e-mails in the mag, never answered or replied.

Passionford is the online community. But Fordsport will always be my club of choice. even if I dont own a ford

 

im a member of the RSOC and happy with it. its only $30 a year & i dont expect to get loads in return for it & thats probably why im a happy member.

getting stickers for my car, mag every 2 months & being able to attend the meets & shows is all im bothered by. anything extra is a bonus.

this isnt meant to be a dig at fordsport is any way. just supporting RSOC as i always do!

Was with xroc for a year, and got nothing out of it, joined fordsport, have been to brunters, york raceway, and as may shows as poss with em!!!!

 

I was with XROC for a year, think i showed with you a couple of times actually gtech, did you have a mk2 festa with mk3 bumper and badboy bonnet?? I showed at Donny when we camped in the fookin paddock and at drayton a few times. I had a black mk4 xr3i with Voodoo stickers and a square black number plate on!

After that i couldnt be arsed with XROC and a certain bloke who ran it!! Ive been a member of escortevolution.co.uk for the past 2 years, ive loved every minute of it, been through 2 gtis and showed at every show.

Ive finally bought my schoolboy dream car now and not sure who to show with next year, hopefully passionford if their having stands at the big shows!!

How much is escort evo? what do you get? pleased your happy

Same goes for the RSOC, without them there would be very little for other clubs to go to show wise, RS shows are probably 50% of the shows we (whatever club) attend!! I understand that the RS Mag is almost as good as the Glossy's you get from the Newsagent... at least you get one!!

 

Im a member of the RSOC

 

Its 9quid a year, we dont get magazines, IMO thats what the net is good for, as its a web based club, we have socials all year round, get discounts from insurance companies, ford dealerships etc etc and obviouslt a chance to show our cars on the stand (i was lucky enough to have mine inside donnington spares show )
