Both as easy to fit as each other, the Radtec is fractionally cheaper, the Pro-alloy one better build quality.
You pays ya money and makes ya choice - I would not hesitate in having either on my car, but chose Pro-alloy purely on the quality of the welds

Proalloy for the cooler
Their rads are amazing as well! Have them on Sierra and Skyline and they have never had any trouble even on roasting hot days at full chat on racetracks

So who uses the smaller one and at what point do you really need the 65mm core?

Radtec for me
60mm in a saff is as easy to fit as the 50mm.
Can I ask how many times do you open the bonnet and look at the welds on the intercooler and think phoooaarr

nowt wrong with the welding here and for the price and the fact its been tested against the other brands and if you look at the figures and compare inlet temp v outlet on the test - it done very well really
Pm me if you want a price for a Radtec Intercooler

My mate has just bought a 60mm Radtec Cooler, fitted absolutely perfect in his 2wd Saph and looked very high quality!
For the sake of it i'd save the money and go Radtec mate! Not like your running 5/600bhp or anything is it.

Im a fan of the pro alloy gear but i had a few problems, my first one started leaking, then i sent it back to be fixed, which they did pronto, no quibbles.
Then it burst again, sent it back and they had it right through december and then sent me back a brand new rad AND cooler, agan...no quibbles
they found it was a design problem in the S1 kit where the cooler rubs on the radiator and eventually punche a hole in it, i got my brand spanking new cooler & rad modified o no more rubbing, albiet with rubber strips round the cooler.
Now its a bit of a bastard that the rad broke twice however i cant fault them on customer service and the equipment does the job well and on that i would say go Pro Alloy

why...
Lower act's from the radtec and the fact that its thicker core.

I've had 1 return and that was the customer asked for act sensor on the coldside which was done after it was made and it was sentout instead of going back for pressure cleaning I've spoken to a few other people that have had fitment probs with Pro Alloy products too.

Might need to speak to them about updating it, but then again, 'if it works, don't fix it'!
